In response to Pedro: thanks for checking out europetour09. to answer your questions... my brother bought his bike online and i bought my bike from a bike shop in chicago. we brought them on the plane in bike boxes. they are both touring bikes, and there are several companies that make them. Ours are both made by Surly, and the model is the Long Haul Trucker. Touring bikes retail for about 1000USD.
